Villa Carlotta, a luxurious Eighteenth Century building is nearby, in Tremezzo. It is surrounded by a park containing about five hundred species of plants and flowers as well as the marble statues made by Antonio Canova. Tours of the Villa are possible from spring to autumn from 9.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.
